Cheversly, who operated under the log name "Brazil"

Cheversly was the first Si-Mas (or Silo Master) of the Silo LX-59 on the grid of a far southern tectonic that became the first fully refunctioning generator noted on Ava. Stepping into the silo by happenchance during a duststorm, he was claimed by the machine and worked tirelessly until his expiration to continue the work of an unknown operator before him. Unable to leave his comfortable chair once he sat down, Cheversly became part of the machine. Through its operation many a strange incident occurred when repowering technology from the old world caused small-scale natural disasters or re-released ancient tech back into the world.

Being bound to the machine made him one of the first Techs, or people who have exchanged active consciousness to be bound in the operations of a machine.
